Safelite AutoGlass

Horrible and rude. They couldn’t calibrate my windshield in the field. I had to call in to get it handled. They transferred me to the wrong store. That manager was short. Told me to go to the Boise store. Went ti the Boise address on Google, and it was the wrong location. Received an email five minutes after my schedule appt to go to their location on Steelhead way. It’s not even a Safelite and they were confused. Finally got connected to this store where the guy was a jerk and argued with me—blatantly lied about the email and address I received. Why would I waste my time and go to a competitor? Went in the following morning (fourth attempt) and they finally fixed the issue that they should have just done in the shop in the first place (not an option on the website). I wasn’t going to waste my time writing a review, but my windshield wiper just came off on the freeway.

They did a great job with replacing the windshield. I was able to schedule to come in to the shop through my car insurance itself and the coverage/deductible was automatically applied. They had availability within a few days of my windshield getting a large crack. Dropping off the keys was easy and there is a waiting room if you intend on waiting while your car is serviced. Pick up was easy as well and the technician explained what was done before we left. There is a key box to drop off the previous night. The location is convenient. The only thing is the windshield now blocks the VIN number. Otherwise, we have no issues.

Technician came to where I work and replaced the windshield in the parking lot. I didn’t have to take off work or wait around. Reid was awesome. Called ahead to let me know approximately what time he would arrive, he came in the office and grabbed my keys, completed the replacement, and then provided a few instructions upon completing the job. Professional, polite, and made you feel he had you covered. Did a great job!

I recently had the windshield replaced on my Jeep Wrangler by Safelite, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The technician was professional, friendly, and clearly took pride in his work. The installation was completed perfectly, and everything was clean and spotless when he finished. The best part was his sense of humor. After completing the installation, he looked at my Wrangler and said, “Cheers ‘til next time!” 🤣 As any Wrangler owner knows, that’s both funny and absolutely 100% accurate. Great workmanship, great customer service, and a technician who understands Jeep ownership. I highly recommend Safelite and would gladly use them again. Cheers, ’til next time! #JeepLife 🪨🚙

Safelite did not install the side trim panel next to my front windshield correctly after replacing my windshield and the first time we went on the freeway at 80mph it ripped off. They replaced it, and it happed again. The technician mentioned that it was missing the rubber boot at the bottom which helps secure it. He said it would be fine and to call if we had any problems. When the panel came off again, I took it to the Safelite shop and the Manager came out to my vehicle and before I could say anything he pointed to the carwash tag on our windshield and said that was the problem and cause of the damage. He wouldn't even listen to what I had to say and eventually just walked away. Very unprofessional and and sad to see a company not take ownership of their service. I will never use Safelite again.
