One of the worst experience. I would not recommend anything done from here or this company. I got a inpection due within 7 days so I set up a appointment for that monday which gave me 5 days left. This location called me to come early but I couldnt. When i got there , they tell me that the bracket of windshield is not right and they will throw all the codes so they have to order another one. I told them I am in a lil hurry so they set me up to a Rosedale location since they are distributingf. without letting them know about anything about my situation. They rescheduled for wendnesday. I came and explained the situation. They took my car for 2 hours and come to me and say they can not calibrate it. I asked what the problem was and tells me about the bracket. Fast forward, tech was saying thay glen burnie location did me dirty since they didnt wanna deal with me. And they won't be able to get mine done for another 7 to 10 days since they have to order a new different company glass. My question is why do you guys not communicate nor try to take any responsibility for this matter ? This is like the most ridiculous customer service/ buying a product from a company. You guys are literally the worst company in my book now. Peter the manager there lie to ur face

If I could give zero stars, I would. This is the worst service experience I have ever had. The first technician replaced my windshield in April. Nothing seemed wrong at the time. There were no visible issues with the new windshield, and I appreciated the new wiper blades included with the service. But after the rain and storms in May and early June, I noticed a knocking sound whenever I used my wipers, along with a crack spreading like a spiderweb from the bottom of the driver's side of the windshield. Since the windshield was brand new, I contacted Safelite to have it inspected. It took a week and a half from my call to get a technician out. The second technician was respectful and knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and had no problem with me watching as he inspected the damage. When he removed the lower seal, we discovered the wiper linkage control was completely disconnected from its bolted position and had been held in place with a makeshift repair using a Bondo-like substance. This could only have been done by the first technician, since I had no issues with the wipers before the windshield replacement. The second technician explained that he could not replace the windshield that day, because it would simply crack again as long as the linkage arm was broken. He called his manager, and with the manager on the line, I was told in no uncertain terms that Safelite would cover the cost of repairing the broken part and replacing the windshield. That was the last I heard from the shop, despite my repeated attempts to reach them through customer service. I have not driven my car since then, and still am not driving it as I write this review. It feels unsafe to operate, especially with the frequent storms and severe weather we have been having, since using the wipers could damage the windshield further. Now for my attempts to reach the manager. A week after the technician's visit, I had heard nothing, so I contacted customer support. They tried calling the manager, got no response, and emailed him. A few days later, still nothing, so I called again. Same result: no answer, another email sent. More time passed with no contact. On my next call, customer support escalated to the regional manager and told me I would hear back within 24 to 72 business hours. That window came and went with no response. I called again, and they escalated to the district manager, promising contact within 24 hours. That deadline has also passed. It has now been over three weeks, and I have heard nothing about whether the part has been ordered or when my car will be fixed. This is ridiculous and unprofessional.

Glass replacement is fine, but my radio, dash display and backup camera are not currently functioning. No power whatsoever. Worked just fine prior to the windshield replacement. Customer service rep couldn’t reach the local shop after calling them twice. She then tells me this is common and they just need to “recalibrate” it. I’d think that would have been checked prior to returning the vehicle!

Horrible work. Unprofessional. Knock off glass. Took my truck all day for a 90 minute install that looks like a 5 year old did it. Wires for defrost not installed. Latch beyond crooked. Called back same day to complain. Manager took my info said he would call me back next day on 2/12. No one has called me. Demand warranty work done at a different location

Had a scheduled appointment to get my windshield replaced. Was told it would take 3 hours and it did. All was well until I got home and found that about 6" of the rubber gasket at the top of my windshield wasn't seated properly. Immediately called the number on the receipt and spoke to someone that wasn't in that office where the work was done, was told to call another number to schedule a repair. That person tried to reach the Glen Burnie office by phone but said there was no answer. It's been a week since the problem was reported and I haven't heard anything but got an email to do this survey. Probably should wait until you confirm someone is a satisfied customer before you ask them to complete a survey. Going by their shop tomorrow, hopefully they fix the problem. Otherwise I'll report them to my insurance company...UPDATE...stopped by the shop this morning and explained my concerns, was told that piece of rubber was cosmetic and not meant to seal...changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars...just needs to be a direct way to reach the shop...thanks
