Safelite AutoGlass

I made an appointment with Safelite to get a shattered windshield replaced. They were supposed to come to my business between 8-1 to replace the glass. The technician never arrived or called so I reached out to them. The CSR acted like they didn't have an order so I asked for a supervisor. When the next person got on the call, they did see the order in their system but informed me that they did not have the glass in stock. We scheduled our vacation around the glass installation and put my wife's car in the shop so it would be ready when we returned from vacation. The only option they could give me was to drive to the Safelite shop at 7 am the next morning. We were supposed to drive to Charleston after the glass installation to check into our hotel so waiting until the next day meant that we would pay for an expensive hotel room that we didn't get to use the first night. The other option would have been to rent a car and leave the car here. But that would have been an expensive car rental. The third option would be to drive the car 5 hours with a broken windshield and have it replaced on vacation. In a nutshell, they gave us 3 horrible options. What I found most interesting was that nobody ever apologized for the issue. They never told me why the appointment got cancelled and they never explained why no one ever called me to say that they would not be arriving on site. They simply left me hanging... Safelite spends plenty of $$$ on commercials to tell you how great they are at communicating with customers prior to and during a repair but it's all BS. Based on this experience, they don't give a damn about their customers. It's my problem now...

Fast , professional, quality work! The process was extremely easy. I mad an appointment ahead of time, decided to just wait on my vehicle, and it only took an hour on my 2020 Toyota Tundra windshield. Staff is very knowledgeable and courteous! Highly recommended!A+++

I recently used Safelite for my windshield replacement after a crack formed. They were very quick helping me schedule, and kind & professional when I brought my car in. I stayed there to work while I waited on my car, which worked out well because they have wifi, tables, and the business is overall pretty quiet! They even helped replace my windshield wipers (which I kept neglecting to do, so I appreciated them handling that for me!). The new windshield looks very nice. Thank you for making that an easy visit for a car repair! I would use Safelite again

I had my windshield fixed, but I kept hearing a whistling noise. I took the car to my mechanic, and they discovered that Safelite didn’t properly seal my windshield and tried to cover up their mistake by using glue. This Satelite location has no pride in their craftsmanship, lazy, and terrible customer service.

Booked this appointment 2 weeks in advance and they did exactly what was expected. Fast friendly service! Very impressed. There's a full coffee and drink bar inside while you wait as well as a snack vending machine. Tipped the gentleman on the way out was so impressed. A+
