Worst Safelite location I have ever used. I have used Safelite many times over the years paying with and without insurance. The technician showed up to my mobile repair appointment on a Friday and began working on my car. After about 15 minutes he called me back outside to inform me of a small scratch on the windshield and asked if I was still willing to accept it. When I asked if there was any type of discount for receiving a defected supposed to be brand new windshield, he called the office to ask someone to which I heard her ask if he was checking the windshield when loading them in the morning and he replied that “he did, but sometimes customers are still willing to accept them”. They told me that they could not offer any discount, and that the scratch was also not covered under their warranty for the new windshield. When I asked if I could get a new one instead, they couldn’t come back with another one until after that weekend when I had already taken off this day to get it done so unfortunately, I accepted it anyway. After hours of working on my windshield, the technician got to the end and was not able to calibrate the new windshield and I was told to bring it into the shop the following morning to be calibrated. Before leaving he collected my $250 deductible on his portable device, I took my car in the next morning and got it calibrated and then was told I was good to go. Later that day I got a phone from a woman who was incredibly rude saying that I still needed to pay my deductible to which I told her that I already had the day before. Her reply was that it didn’t go through and that I would need to pay again, to which I told her that I could see in my bank account while on the phone with her where the money had come out already. Instead of apologizing or explaining that their technician had processed it incorrectly they treated me as if I was just trying to not pay my bill which I THOUGHT I ALREADY HAD. And now they expect me to trust giving them my credit card information over the phone or written on a piece of paper in the mail instead of offering me a secure way to pay this bill for the second time, and still no apology or any acknowledgment of their mistakes. If I could go back I would never have used this Safelite, and highly encourage everyone else to look elsewhere to save themselves this headache.

Thomas arrived on time, which I appreciated. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the work and the overall service. After the installation was completed, I noticed that the rubber molding at the top of the windshield on the exterior had not been pushed down completely. Later, when I got into my vehicle to leave work, I also found debris and dirt from the installation left all over my dashboard. I had also requested the premium service, which included additional services beyond the windshield replacement. I was not charged for those extras, and I was later told that they had not been completed. While I appreciate that I was not charged for services I did not receive, I specifically requested the premium service and expected those services to be performed as scheduled. For a professional windshield replacement service, I expected the installation to be thoroughly checked before the technician left, the interior of my vehicle to be cleaned of any debris created during the process, and the services I requested to be completed. Unfortunately, the lack of attention to these details left me disappointed with the service.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Safelite from start to finish. I took my vehicle there through my insurance company for a windshield replacement, and during the removal process the technician accidentally cut into the frame of my car. Because of the damage, my vehicle had to be sent to a body shop for repairs. What made the situation even worse was the communication. They failed to inform me in a timely manner about what had happened, and by the time they finally told me I wouldn’t be getting my car back that day, every local rental car location was already closed. I ended up having to Uber over an hour to Richmond airport just to get a rental car. After several days, I finally got my vehicle back and was told that, due to how badly the situation had been handled, my deductible would be reimbursed. That was two months ago. Since then, I’ve made multiple calls and sent multiple emails, and each time I’ve been told it would be taken care of — yet I still haven’t received anything. Not only that but I started hearing a sound when the AC was running and after a heavy rain noted water pooled on the passenger floor mat. The culprit was a 3 foot piece of rubber with shards of glass attached to it that they had dropped in the air intake and not noticed. Mistakes can happen, but the lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through throughout this entire process was unacceptable. I would think very carefully before trusting them with your vehicle.

My car was damaged. Seal around windshield is not flush with windshield. Plastic at bottom of windshield was broken in two. I have scratch/ cut marks on metal surrounding windshield. Bolts was broken that attaches wipers to car. DO NOT USE SAFELITE if you care about your vehicle!! I am looking for my windshield to leak since the seal is not flush.

I will not be bringing any of my cars here again.. took my 2018 Porsche Macan in for a windshield replacement, no issues. Got in the car went home. This morning I'm driving to work and hear a rattling sound coming from my dome light housing. I'm driving on 64 and hit a bump and the whole housing falls out of place, I pop it back up and it proceeds to fall out of place 4 more times. I get to the parking lot at work and get a flashlight and look and to my surprise both retaining clips are completely broken and the only thing keeping it in place were the side clips. I guess this is what I get for not using the dealership..
