Had a cracked windshield on my 2022 Subaru Outback. Due to my vehicle’s camera system requiring re-calibration after windshield replacement, remote service was not an option, so I made an appointment at this location. I also opted for both front and rear wiper replacement and rain defense on the new windshield. Originally my appointment was scheduled Monday 6/15/26, after dropping off my vehicle and waiting maybe 20 minutes, they informed me that the replacement windshield had a defect, they were super apologetic and asked if I could reschedule. I live relatively close and told them no worries, I’m just glad they spotted the defect before removing my old windshield. I rescheduled my appointment for Wednesday 6/17 and was expecting having to wait a couple hours, but they were done in about an hour. New windshield looks great and having the rain defense has made a huge improvement! The following day, I drove through a torrential downpour on my way to work and had zero visibility issues! Also, because my replacement had been delayed two days, they gave me a discount…. not necessary, though greatly appreciated! Overall, 11/10 experience! They went above and beyond my expectations and the guy at the desk (can’t remember his name) was awesome! Highly recommend!

Was referred here by my insurance company to replace a cracked windshield after a rock chip spread. I got an appointment quickly. The day before the appointment, Safelight called to let me know the new windshield arrived and was scratched during shipping, so we rescheduled for a few days after; they ordered another windshield. Installation took less than two hours and looks great. The technician and customer service were professional and polite.

Got my windshield replaced on January 31st and on March 17th I get an even larger crack and am told I am SOL and warranty is only 30 days. Could not suggest against safelite enough, spent hours trying to get ahold of someone and couldn’t and physically drove to the store where they spent 7 seconds looking at it to tell me there was nothing they could do. Poor service and even worse support. They left my dash a mess and also have a piece hanging out that wasn’t before. I was told I was the last appt of the day and it was obviously rushed, only took about 20 minutes and were travel techs not even from the state. They also did not put the rubber gasket around the windshield like my original one, you can see I can stick my finger between the glass and frame

I had two appointments at this location. Both times my experience was outstanding. Kyle at the front office and the rest of the team made the process easy and painless. The work was done quicker than quoted, with OEM parts. They were very helpful dealing with the insurance company. I highly recommend the Mentor location.

A few days ago, our rear car window basically exploded when cold air hit the warm defrosted window. We went online to check pricing with Safelite and found out much more. The pricing was what was expected and payment was not due until after service was completed. That was a big plus. Our technician Michael was Very good! Spoke with us before he arrived and completed the job thoroughly, cleaning/vacuuming every bit of glass in the car. I highly recommend Safelite.
