Safelite AutoGlass

I have used Safelite for over 10 years and have not had a bad experience with them so far. They are always available in an acceptable timeframe. Drop off is always amazing and easy. Navigating the website is easy and fast. The customer service technicians have always been friendly to me. And even the times where they’ve had to come to my place of residence to replace the windshield they have been fast and easy. Definitely recommend this place.

This was my second visit to Safelite in Moline over the last three years. The employees are all very friendly and knowledgeable and did a great job of repairing both of the rock chips in my windshield. The service was quick and easy to schedule. Highly recommend!

Updated: The manager of this location, Wendy, did a fantastic job recognizing my situation had been mishandled. She definitely made up for the mishaps of one technician! For that reason my review will change from 1 ⭐️ (bad employee) to 5⭐️ (proper response from management) Thank you Wendy! Set up appointment for replacement, left the key fob in the mailbox. I work 3rd shift and was sleeping, only to find out the “technician” didn’t know about the key inside the key fob and left without completing the job! He placed a phone call at 7am and left no message, has no mailbox set up to leave a voicemail. The fact that the “technician” didn’t know there was a key inside the key fob and just left without completing the job is unprofessional at best!

Call them to get an estimate on a small stone bruise. After going through their convoluted automated answering system I finally found a human being to speak with. Could not move forward without giving all my information including address phone number and email. Once I explained what I needed to be done the representative quoted me a price of $285. So what's your responded that's kind of high just for a stone bruise fix and she says well that includes new wiper blades in the rain treatment of some sort. So they were trying to upsell me wiper blades without even asking if I needed them and throwing in a spray of Rain-X for $285. Probably wouldn't recommend them unless you're going through insurance because not liking their closet upsell. Called an independent shop got my stone bruise repair for under $100. Just my experience and just my opinion.

Got a email that my scheduled installation would be pushed back 5 days on the day before it was to be installed . They found out they did not have the glass and would have to order it. Now that will be 8 days without the vehicle that was promised in 3. Trying to cancel my appointment was a nightmare. You can never talk to a human, they always refer you to the web. Do your job, get organized. What a mess!!!
