Safelite AutoGlass

After a recent road trip in which a rock cracked it, I had to have the entire windshield replaced. The Safelite service center at 96th and Southwest Highway did a stellar job. Easy to make an appointment, the service staff was professional and friendly, and on top of my appointment from the time it eas made to and after windshield was replaced. Used Safelite years ago and there was no other place I considered this time. Highly recommend!

I just had Danielle Reveles out to repair two sizable (2-3 inches each) stars in my windshield after pebbles in Hedley, TX flew up into my windshield as I drove through some road construction. Danielle did a great job; she cautioned me before she began as to what could happen as she did the repairs so that there would be no surprises. I am happy to report that both stars are completely fixed. If you look REALLY closely, you MIGHT be able to tell where the stars were, but I am very please with the quality of her work. It takes a woman! THANK YOU, DANIELLE!

Shop was great. I had to reschedule once and they made it easy. The technician who came out was very professional and courteous (Robert). It is great they can come to you and get everything done!

Please be aware of poor business ethics! This facility made two appointments with an elderly person and cancelled both appointments(2 separate days) back to back for “different” reasons. They gave two reasons, in which BOTH should have been DISCLOSED at the time the appointment was made. After waiting 48 hours for Safelite to render service, the customer was asked to drive to the bridgeview location(13 miles away) for service. That option was declined due to health reasons. We have followed up with corporate as well as others to help with how this was handled. I would hate for anyone else to experience this type of service,(or lack there of). And, as consumers we must spend our money where appreciated. LASTLY, I gave that location several chances to explain the way the situation was handled only to get an AUTOMATED service REPEATEDLY, not able to speak with a live person in the office(assuming because of the poor service practices). I finally reached out to corporate and was able to offer feedback. Needless to say after such a TERRIBLE experience and the WILLINGNESS to pay 497$ for convenience, FRANKS AUTO GLASS completed the task within an hour for 175$. LETS DO BETTER!!! REDLINING IS NEVER ACCEPTED, especially when the service was for a RETIRED CHICAGO POLICE SARGENT and GRANDPARENTS OF AN ATTORNEY. Although careers should not make a difference in the service received, it shows that the consumers are upstanding citizens that just wanted to have their windshield repaired and Safelite failed to do so!

Backing them one hundred percent I was totally satisfied, not only do they contact me before it's the appointment to advise me of the things I needed to do, they also contact you after to make sure the tape is taken off at the proper time. The car is washed at the proper time. Things like that mean a lot, very, very polite in both manners on the phone. While I was there in person, all the texts were great. I would highly highly recommend them.
