Safelite AutoGlass

I recently hired Safelite to change my severely cracked windshield. The repair took about two hours at my home (love the mobile option). Mason, the technician, was friendly and professional. He jumped right into the task once we exchanged pleasantries and I completed payment. Upon completion, he cautioned me not to drive for 30 minutes and to wait two hours before removing some tape he'd applied to strengthen the adhesive bond. The final result is a clear windshield without cracks for the first time in twenty years. Love it!

Glass looks great, staff was friendly, appointment was quick at under 1.5 hrs, but they left damage. Both side trim pieces that sit above the molding are now dented from some type of tooling. I imagine this could have been easily prevented. Maybe they were hoping it would go unnoticed, but it certainly was not there before.

The Safelite technician that we had to replace our windshield on my Dodge ram 2500 pick up was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He explained everything that he was going to do and allowed us to watch the entire process. The Customer Service he provided was very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend safe flight to all my friends and family if they ever needed to have a windshield replaced. Fantastic work.

Technician Jacob came to replace and calibrate my new front glass. He was very efficient and friendly. Got everything done in a short amount of time. Very pleased with results.

My journey to get a driver side window replaced has been nothing but a headache. Three appointments in, and the job still isn't complete. The first technician broke trim clips and the regulator, the second canceled last minute, and the third got the window in and working despite the company ordering the wrong regulator. I am still waiting for them to reach out about fixing the trim clips. Glass was left all over their work space in my garage (not where the window was broken) including a piece in the car that could have easily cut a finger if I didn't notice it. The third technician was ready to leave with the car battery dead, he did remedy that prior to leaving, but only after we noticed it. While I doubt Safelite will actually follow up to repair the broken trim clips, that wouldn't actually improve my experience because they are just fixing something they broke. They did not offer any remedy to the hassles and opportunity costs they created. I will go out of my way to not use Safelite again!
