Car windwhield was hit by a good size pebble cauing a chip in the glass with surrounding spidering. They came to the house and tried to patch it, but one of the lines spread further. This happens sometimes and they said so upfront. So they said I'd have to get the windshield replaced and I'd have to take it to one of their shops. They had to order my windshield, so the appointment was week out. First they said it would be in Burlington and then they switched it to Woburn. I arrived for my appointment at 7 am and dropped off the car. They called me around 3:00 pm to tell me that windshield they had ordered for my car had a crack in it and they would have to order a new one. Seriously?! No one checked the windshield when it arrived to make sure it was good to go? I wasted a day and $50 in ubers and now had to come back again a week later. So again I arrive in the morning at the scheduled time and drop off the car. This time I get a call around 2:30, telling me they had installed the window but were unable to calibrate it. I asked what that meant. They said it means some of the sensors that operate via the windshield wouldn't work, such as blind spot detection. I would have to pick up the car and take it to the dealer. I questioned why they had started this work if they didn't know how to calibrate. Then the story changed somewhat to that they know how to calibrate, they just ran into some problem. The woman on the phone and in person, had a bit of attitude and they refused to take any responsibility for the incompetence. Now I had to take it to my dealer, who was luckily able to see me the next day. I talked to the insurance company the day before to a) complain about Safelite and their service and b) to make sure they would cover the cost of the dealer's repair. They said they would, but told me I had to pay up front and then send them the receipt to get reimbursed. Turns out the Safelite folks had damaged one of the sensors and broke the wires. The repair cost $1,200 that I had to pay and will probably take weeks to get reimbursed. On top of that I'm out $100 for ubers for work that was never completed. Avoid the Wildwood Ave, Woburn Safelite at all costs. They are incompetent and rude.

I booked an appointment for mobile repair. Then I received multiple texts and emails confirming my mobile repair to my address. Then I received a call 45 minutes into my delivery window that there was no mobile technician available to come to my address and the solution that was given to reschedule or come to the local Safelite office for my repair later in the day. Why so many confirmations for mobile repair for me to have to take extra time off of work and head to the Safelite location? Why offer mobile repair for my appointment for me me to have to go to the shop anyway.

I agree with several previous reviews about the disrespectful and unprofessional behavior of the store manager, Adam, at the Woburn location. After a very poor installation glass shards left on the floor, loose retainers, misaligned trim pieces, and even a missing gasket on one side the manager became confrontational. In an empty parking lot, he raised his voice, shouted that he was the professional and knew better than anyone, and then made a physical threat. I ended up taking my car to a local independent shop. They completely redid the work and were shocked to discover the missing gasket and other issues the original installers had overlooked. This was a complete nightmare experience. I do not recommend this location at all.

Took my Jeep Grand Cherokee in to the Woburn shop to get my rear passenger side glass replaced. The vehicle is a 2014 so it took some expertise due to the way in which you need to install the window within the vehicle door. Not a DYI project that is for sure. This place was great all around. From the front desk right when you enter to the knowledgeable technicians handling the replacement, this was a 10/10 experience for me. Shout out to Alan who heads up Quality Control (if it’s spelt Allen, my bad..) He was incredible. He and Adam really treated me well from start to finish. These guys take pride in their work and treat the customers with respect. I will not need to shop for another location to get my glass serviced as long as I live North of Boston. I’m going to go here every single time. I appreciate the experience today. A+ all around to the entire team I worked with on a far less than routine replacement. Highly recommended.
