Truman's Automotive & ADAS Calibrations

I've had my car serviced here several times since moving to Altoona, and every experience has been great. As a younger woman, I always get a little anxious going to a new auto shop because I worry about being pressured into repairs or services I don't actually need. I never felt that way here. Everyone I've interacted with has been friendly, kind, and patient. They took the time to answer all of my (probably excessive) questions without making me feel rushed or talked down to. It's hard to find a shop you can trust, and I'm really glad I found this one. I definitely recommend them!

I am so thankful to have someone to go to that is honest, professional, and caring. From day one, Mr. Richard has taken great of me. I highly recommend Truman’s!

I was driving down the interstate and my car stopped accelerating. After a quick Google of nearby mechanics I stopped off at Trumans. I figured Id be stuck at the mechanic all afternoon but I wasn't. There was no BS. They got the car in and had new parts delivered to the shop with in the hour. The parts were all installed within less than another hour. Price was reasonable, actually lower than I was expecting.

They did a great job on our Lexus! We had our timing belt, other 2 belts, and water pump replaced. The quote was pretty spot on and the gentleman I worked with was super nice! I will definitely go back!

If your looking for a local shop with competitive pricing and honest work ethics look no further than Truman's Auto, right outside of Altoona. I called Richard around 9am looking for my car to be seen by a mechanic after calling EVERY shop within a 10 mile radius, and Richard was able to fit me in and look at my car WITHIN 15 MINUTES of hanging up the phone with him. (My car was fixed with only 1 day at the shop, and they were down a mechanic even!!) Being myself, I am not super car savvy whatsoever, and Richard was able to diagnose my car and explain the issues to me; showing me which parts they would need in order to fix it. Richard even went as far as going in depth about the install and how the parts go on and bring functionality to the vehicle. I highly recommend this shop for any automotive needs, they are super honest and transparent on their pricing/installs, as well as giving top notch customer service and speeds with it. Please share with your family and friends and go let Richard and his team get you back on the road!!! Thanks Truman's Automotive!
