I normally don’t like leaving negative reviews because I understand how much reviews can impact a business. I also work in the automotive industry in sales, so I know how important customer experience and professionalism are. Unfortunately, my experience at this dealership was very disappointing. I currently drive a new Lexus, and after taking a week-long road trip of nearly 2,000 miles with my friend who owns a Cybertruck, I became very interested in Tesla’s autopilot. Because of that experience, I seriously started considering selling my Lexus and purchasing a Model Y. When I visited the dealership, no one greeted or welcomed me. I noticed a lady sitting at a desk, so I approached her myself and asked about the difference between the Model Y and the Model Y Performance. Her response was simply, “Only speed.” I even repeated the question because I was surprised, and she again replied, “Yes, only speed” What disappointed me most was the complete lack of interest afterward. I was never offered a closer look at the vehicle, a test drive, or any explanation of the features. No one asked whether I planned to finance or pay cash, and no effort was made to understand what I was looking for. She didn’t ask for my contact information or provide hers!! As someone who works in car sales, I would never treat a customer or even a potential customer this way. The interaction made me lose interest completely, and I ended up leaving shortly after. Very disappointing experience, and unfortunately not a place I would return to.

This place is great. When you walk in, there is no pressure on sales, they let you drive all the cars if you want and take it for a long period of time to make sure your comfortable with it. Bought a Tesla the next day!

I was in for service for just an hr. Decided to wait. Then was greeted by a man named Sam. We talk about the cars in great detail, even speculated a bit. Very knowledgeable and he even let me test drive a the new Model3. Nothing really felt fake about Sam, shared about his Speed6 and his jeep his wife keeps guzzling gas with. Overall very welcoming experience.

Facility is good, plenty of chairs to sit, tea and coffee there, clean bathrooms but my repair estimate was $12 dollars I ended up paying $500 for a new tire. Not sure how to take it

I brought my 2022 Tesla Model Y into the Westmont service center on December 18 for two issues. 1) Ongoing vibration issue (over 1.5 years): For the past year and a half, I’ve repeatedly brought this car in for vibration while driving. Each visit resulted in a different explanation—wheel alignment, wheel balancing, tire feathering, etc.—all of which I paid for out of pocket, while being told no real issue could be found. On January 15, I took the car to the Tesla service center on Ogden in Naperville, where they immediately identified worn ball joints on the driver side and a failing wheel bearing. The difference in service and competence was night and day. 2) Passenger-side mud flap issue mishandled: The second reason for my December 18 visit was a loose passenger-side mud flap. I included a photo and description clearly showing the mud flap. I wasn’t able to drop the car off myself, so my brother did. Despite the documentation, the front desk employee incorrectly assumed the issue was the wheel garnish. She stated that my brother “verbally approved” a garnish replacement costing $160. This is false. I did not approve that repair and refused to pay for it. After requesting a manager, I spent over an hour across two phone calls explaining the situation and directing him to the photo and written description. He told me they could not reinstall the old garnish and that he would comp the replacement. That did not happen. The invoice stated the garnish was replaced, but when the Naperville Tesla service center inspected it, they confirmed it was not replaced and installed a new one themselves. I know it was the original garnish because it still had visible scuff marks from prior damage. This was extremely disappointing and dishonest. I don’t understand why I was told one thing, billed documentation reflected another, and reality showed something completely different. Based on repeated misdiagnosis, poor communication, and inaccurate service records, I would strongly advise avoiding the Westmont service center. The contrast between Westmont and Naperville was stark, and unfortunately, my experience here was unacceptable.
