The team at The Plug EV Repairs was able to repair the damaged wiring harness instead of replacing the whole thing, and they got the job done for about a quarter of Tesla's quoted price. The repair was done right, my car is back on the road, and I saved thousands of dollars. A huge thank you to The Plug EV Repairs for their honesty, expertise, and quality work. Excellent experience with The Plug EV! They completed an LFP battery swap on my 2021 Tesla Model 3 SR+, and the entire process was smooth and professional. I didn’t end up servicing my car here because I was too far away, but Marc was kind enough to help me over the phone anyway. He was patient, took the time to review my Tesla service quote with me, and pointed out several charges that didn’t make sense or didn’t apply to my Tesla model. He also guided me through the Tesla Service app to make sure there were no active alerts on my vehicle. He even advised me to stay local for service to avoid the risk of getting stranded, which I really appreciated, most places would have just encouraged the work without considering the bigger picture. After reaching back out to Tesla with the information he helped me gather, I was able to significantly reduce my original repair estimate from $1,750 to $945. Most shops would’ve simply said “sorry, we can’t help” and moved on, but he genuinely took the time to assist me with no obligation at all. Because of that, next time I’ll definitely make sure to schedule service here in advance, even if it’s far away
